HARTZ Search invites you to explore an exciting opportunity with our client, LCMC Health, for the Chief Revenue Officer. The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) provides centralized management for all Revenue Cycle functions for LCMC Health and its affiliate members. The leader will direct, manage and implement programs to ensure efficient operations of the organization’s Revenue Cycle program to generate sufficient cash flow to support operations and strategic initiatives. Additionally, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for identifying, analyzing, reducing, and resolving all Revenue Cycle issues. The CRO will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with the administrative, clinical department, and physician leadership across the organization. The leader will also promote working relationships with key external organizations; this would include other providers, payers, government entities, and applicable professional associations. All areas of the Revenue Cycle will report to the CRO for LCMC Health, including Patient Access Management, Pre-Services, Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Integrity and Utilization Review, Revenue Integrity, Patient Financial Services, Home Care/ Post- Acute Revenue Systems, Physician Services and Operational Strategy and Optimization. LCMC Health is a nonprofit network of healthcare providers in Southern Louisiana based out of New Orleans. LCMC Health encompasses 9 hospitals with over 1800 licensed beds, 5 Urgent Cares, and a growing number of Freestanding Emergency Departments, partnering with over 2,791 physicians & providers to serve the patients of New Orleans and surrounding areas.   

QUALIFICATIONS Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administrative, Management Accounting, Finance or other related specialty is required
  • MBA preferred

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive management experience required in healthcare receivables, demonstrating ever-increasing and progressive responsibilities.
  • Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of hospital and professional fee Revenue Cycle and regulatory requirements related to the Revenue Cycle.
  • The individual must have significant experience with payers, providers, hospitals and physicians and understand the commensurate requirements for facilitating accounts receivable resolution, cash flow, billing, revenue enhancement and patient service issues.
  • Incumbent must possess strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to many different audience levels.
